All the bread I’ve had from Gilda has been absolutely delicious and they make the best sourdough I’ve ever tasted. The Brie and spring onion sourdough is amazing, just serve warm or lightly toasted and buttered, yum.
There is always a great range of breads and pastries and the sausage rolls are also particularly superb.
The only downside is it’s so hard to choose…..!

I never write reviews. I had to for this. We bought a brie and onion sourdough loaf today… best bread I have ever eaten! The customer service was brilliant - such a lovely and friendly experience. We made our purchase at the Perry Court apple festival - I am so glad to find out there is a shop I can go to, to buy this bread and other products frequently! Fantastic!

CTPT had our run club here today and wow what a beautiful complex. It has an incredible bakery which I couldn't resist to sample some of their delicious cakes and bread. There is also a lovely cafe and a butchers. They make all their sausages and bacon which I had to pop a few of these into the shopping as well. This place was busy at 9am on Sunday which indicates how popular it is and it's a lovely place to spend a few hours. There are some beautiful walks as well so you could make a few hours of it then treat yourself to a lovely breakfast and a good coffee.

I bought a cheddar and chorizo loaf, cheese twists and a seeded sourdough loaf from Gilda when they had a stall at the Cliftonville Farmer’s Market. All three items were delicious. The twists were so buttery and cheesy - the best I’ve ever tasted. The chorizo and cheddar loaf makes the most fantastic toast which forms a great base for roasted tomatoes, scrambled eggs, poached egg - pretty much anything you fancy. I can’t recommend Gilda too highly - wonderful produce and jolly nice people.
