Our mince pies have been voted Best Artisan Mince Pie 2025 by Good Housekeeping Magazine (and this trio were ranked No.9 in the alternative UK top 10)!

Crumbly, buttery pastry filled with Gilda’s signature mincemeat: packed with local apples, vine fruits, toasted almonds, browned butter and a generous splash of Kentish Sloe Gin.

Our artisan mince pies are handmade in small batches daily at our bakery in Canterbury. We use local ingredients where we can and even make our own marmaladey candied peel using orange peels from local farm shop Macknade. Our Bramley apples are sourced from our friends at Perry Court and we use sloe gin picked from Kentish hedgerows. These mince pies have also been awarded ‘outstanding’ with 2 Great Taste Stars 2025.  We hope you enjoy them!

These mince pies come in a box of three with toppings as described by the Great Taste Judging panel:

Crumble – “invitingly spiced pies with a pleasing crunchy crumbly top”

Viennese – “One of the most attractive mince pies we have encountered”

Frangipane – “A deeply and generously filled mince pie”

We will dispatch freshly made mince pies on Wednesdays by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Delivery.  You can choose your delivery date at checkout. Alternatively, choose click and collect to pick up from our bakery or from our market stalls in Sandwich (Saturdays) and Faversham (Saturdays) or at Folkestone Harbour (Fri, Sat & Sun).

All mince pies will have on receipt a minimum of 10 to 14+ days shelf life on arrival with you.
