Bakery Shop Assistant

Gilda Bakery is looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team. This role would suit someone enthusiastic, dependable, and confident working in a busy retail environment.

Hours: 2–3 shifts per week 6:30am to 2:30pm (including weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving customers and providing excellent customer service

• Preparing and packing orders for collection

• Cash handling and operating the till

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the shop

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or over
• Must have reliable transport to and from the bakery due to rural location
• Available to work weekends
• Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
